Exciting day last week celebrating Bastille Day across our Maple Cross HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd site with ALIGN JV. 🇫🇷
We offered a variety of goodies for customers to celebrate & enjoy on this national French day🍰🥞🥐

The Bastille was originally built as a medieval fortress when the Bourbon Monarchy ruled. It became a state prison where felons were harshly kept. In 1789 on July 14th a mob, (now known as protestors) approached the building to demand the fall of the Bastille. The taking of the Bastille signalled the beginning of the French Revolution and therefore became a symbol of the ancien régime.
