We had the honour of being a part of a major milestone event for HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd and Align JV. Bon Appetit Group Limited provided refreshments for this exciting moment for HS2 Ltd as they celebrated the start of construction on the railway’s first and longest viaduct with the launch of an enormous 700 tonne bridge-building machine, named ‘Dominique’. Stretching for more than two miles (3.4km) across a series of lakes and waterways between Hillingdon and the M25, the Colne Valley Viaduct will also be the longest railway bridge in the UK. What collaboration & community is all about 🇬🇧❤️ What a fantastic event celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at our project with Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture & HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd. We held a special Jubilee themed lunch at our Euston approaches site today for a local community group, the Third Age Project. Great to see the new Elizabeth Line officially open up this week. We are very proud to have worked closely with Crossrail Ltd and Transport for London on the project feeding thousands of the workforce from Paddington, Pudding Mill Lane, Woolwich Arsenal and the soon to open Bond Street Station. Although the project went on longer than expected we were always on hand to keep the workforce fuelled along the way. A big congrats to our clients Skanska Costain Group PLC Balfour Beatty plc Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure on completing this exciting new line that will serve 200 million passengers! ...
