Around 14% of women now make up the construction industry as professionals. With this number rising each year, we thought we’d share our top three facts we learnt about women in the industry!
1. 13% of construction firms are owned by women💼
2. On average, women who work in construction earn up to 30% more than traditional female dominated careers💪🏻
3. 44% of the top construction companies have women in executive roles👷🏽♀️
There is now much more support for women working in construction, with a variety of organisations available to help with the job searching, training and work on site. As well as much better courses and conferences, that take place throughout the year, to encourage women into the industry🤩💁🏼♀️
