This week marks the 10 year anniversary of the opening ceremony of the #London2012OlympicGames at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park . Bon Appetit Group Limited played a pivotal role as a tier one catering contractor, feeding tens of thousands of workforce every day, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our journey started many months earlier at non competition venues and lasted well after the end of the #ParalympicGames . We look back with immense pride having played a part in delivering the biggest catering operation in peace time Britain. We learnt lots and carried so many legacies into what we do today....

We had the honour of being a part of a major milestone event for HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd and Align JV. Bon Appetit Group Limited provided refreshments for this exciting moment for HS2 Ltd as they celebrated the start of construction on the railway’s first and longest viaduct with the launch of an enormous 700 tonne bridge-building machine, named ‘Dominique’. Stretching for more than two miles (3.4km) across a series of lakes and waterways between Hillingdon and the M25, the Colne Valley Viaduct will also be the longest railway bridge in the UK. Great to see the new Elizabeth Line officially open up this week. We are very proud to have worked closely with Crossrail Ltd and Transport for London on the project feeding thousands of the workforce from Paddington, Pudding Mill Lane, Woolwich Arsenal and the soon to open Bond Street Station. Although the project went on longer than expected we were always on hand to keep the workforce fuelled along the way.
